Mayor Angie Lee requested council approval to reappoint several incumbents to their current positions: Dustin Riggs as Public Works Supervisor, Jacob Qualls as City Treasurer, Melissa Klinge as City Clerk, Robert Topie as Chief of Police, John Blom with HECO as the city's engineers, Steve Pierson as Building Plan Reviewer, Tony Young as Building Inspector, and MSBT Law as the city's attorneys. Council President Joe Giardelli moved to approve and the motion passed by roll call vote.
The reappointments keep existing department leadership and outside consultants in place; the council did not record debate in the minutes. The motion carried with aye votes recorded from Portenier, Hemmert, Giardelli, Hurd and Richard.
