Maupin to host joint work session with Planning Commission on Street Design Project

City Manager Nick Smith told the council the city will schedule a joint work session with the City Council and Planning Commission to review the Street Design Project, and that the TGM group will attend to "go through the details and answer any Street Design Project questions." He said project materials will be posted on the city's website and that a public hearing could follow, possibly at the Oct. 23 council meeting.
Mayor Beatty noted lighting is not addressed in the current plan. The council was advised that Planning Commission training will begin in January to prepare for three seats opening in December–January; applications for Planning Commission positions are available online and at City Hall.
