Rick reviewed the district’s fiscal year 28 long-term facilities maintenance (LTFM) 10-year plan, walking the board through expenditure categories and the state-provided revenue spreadsheet. He pointed to multiple $500,000 entries for roofing projects in 2029—identified as roofing at the middle school—and said the state expects the first few years to be reasonably accurate while later years are estimates.
"If you look out, in 2029, we've got 500,000 numerous times for roofing," Rick said, noting HVAC-controls updates and chiller-related entries tied to current work. He explained the state populates the revenue spreadsheet with approved formulas and that the district's expenditure entries reflect expected projects and estimated fund balances for each year.
On a motion by Gina, seconded by Jenna, the board adopted the 10-year LTFM plan. Rick said the plan will be used for the district’s expenditure application and to guide capital maintenance priorities going forward.
