The board approved a multi-year grounds maintenance and tree services contract with Full Landscaping and Tree Services for $172,450 per year covering 08/01/2026 through 06/30/2028. The vote on the combined buildings-and-grounds package passed, but a single board member registered opposition to the landscaping price, and the minutes reflect a 6–1 recorded result for that set of items.
During discussion the dissenting board member questioned outsourcing the work at that price given the district’s capacity to perform some services in-house. He said, "I just believe under 9.2 that we're paying a huge amount of money ... A $172,000 over the course of the ... is a lot of money to be paying when we could probably do our own way cheaper in house." The chair clarified the vote to reflect that the dissent applied to the landscaping proposal itself.
Other facilities items approved during the same motion included contract language revisions with a fire protection vendor, replacement of dust detectors in a kitchen area, and installation of a pool chemical feeder. The board recorded majority approval on those items.
