The council adopted Resolution #2025-11 at its Aug. 11 meeting, authorizing a special maintenance fee of One Dollar ($1.00) per front foot on taxable lots fronting and abutting municipal improvements pursuant to SDCL 9-43-138.
Mayor John Edelman read the resolution text into the record. Motion by Jared Voog, second by Shelley DeJong to approve the resolution was recorded as carried with all in favor. The resolution directs the director of equalization to add the assessment to regular property assessments and to certify it to the county auditor for collection as municipal taxes.
