Viborg told it meets CDBG eligibility; Oct. 1 application work to begin

At the Aug. 11 meeting Hayley Ferguson briefed the council on results of a Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) survey, stating the city meets the eligibility criteria to apply for funding.
Ferguson said city staff will collaborate with Finance Officer Sean Gann to prepare the application in time for the Oct. 1 initial application deadline. The council recorded no vote on the item during the meeting and assigned staff follow-up for application preparation.
