The Bristow Hospital Authority recorded two formal actions at its Oct. 2 special meeting. First, trustees approved a motion directing the City Attorney to negotiate an amendment to the Development Agreement with Carrus Lakeside Health, L.L.C., that would include a conditional $2.2 million offer tied to CMS licensing, a Medicare number and retention of Critical Access designation. The motion was made by Trustee Joe Church, seconded by Trustee Judd Johns and passed by roll call: Church, Fletcher, Groom, Johns, Roberts and Witty voted Aye; Heather Green and Brian Peters were absent.
Second, Trustee Jeff Roberts moved to adjourn the special meeting; Trustee Judd Johns seconded. A roll call recorded Church, Fletcher, Groom, Johns, Roberts and Witty as voting Aye and the meeting was adjourned. The motions authorized negotiation only; no final contract or fund disbursement was approved at the meeting.
