Pamela J. Spaulding told the commission that a training on the Community Housing and Infrastructure Program (CHIP) is scheduled for Feb. 19 and that the Housing committee will hold a Google meeting this week to develop an ordinance addressing abandoned and derelict housing.
The commission discussed that Housing views an ordinance on abandoned properties as a potential tool to encourage housing opportunities; no formal motion or vote was recorded on policy direction during the Feb. 9 meeting.
