The Londonderry Selectboard voted unanimously on May 13 to accept Hunter Excavating’s bid to construct the South Village Wastewater Project, estimated to cost $4,126,878. The motion, moved by Leanne Alexander and seconded by Jim Fleming, also authorized the Town Administrator to execute any documents necessary to hire the contractor.
Chrissy Haskins of Dufresne Group told the board there had been two bids and that “the bid from Michelle Baillargeon was deemed non-responsive, which left Hunter Excavating as the low bidder.” The board’s vote approved awarding the work to Hunter Excavating and delegated signing authority to the Town Administrator to complete contracting steps. The meeting record does not specify a contract start date or completion schedule.
