Council received an update that Firwood Design has finalized the project design and is preparing bid and permit documents for the Stark Boat Ramp revitalization. Staff told the council that permitting is required from multiple state and federal agencies before the project proceeds to public hearings at the Planning Commission.
"Permitting will be required from DEQ, WES, DSL, Army Corps of Engineers and the Oregon Marine Board," the council noted in discussion. After permit documents are finalized the Planning Commission will hold public hearings to consider the project as part of normal land-use review.
