Superintendent (voice 6) updated the board that the feasibility-study meeting to finalize scope and preliminary estimates was rescheduled and that Piper Sandler, the district's bond finance advisor, will be involved in putting numbers to the architect's plans.
He said several large HVAC units are at or near end of life—about 25 years old—and suggested including auditorium lighting and sound, secure-entrance designs and HVAC replacement in the feasibility scope. The administration will meet with staff during an early-collaboration day, and the board tentatively set a special meeting for April 25 at 6:30 p.m. to review the feasibility report before any formal action.
The superintendent also described planned window-perf installations during spring break for improved visibility and privacy at several entrances, and reported coordination discussions with 3 Lakes and Greenbush about transportation scheduling and contingency funds. "Piper Sandler, the bond finance people will be part of that so they can start getting in the loop and start putting numbers to things," he said.
