The Rogue River City Council unanimously approved Resolution 24-1441-R on Nov. 21, 2024, increasing the employee Christmas bonus from an amount not to exceed $150 to $200. Councilor Barb Hilty moved the change, Councilor Sherrie Moss seconded, and the motion passed with all five council votes recorded as yes.
The raise affects the one-time holiday payment described in the resolution and was approved without additional discussion. The vote followed routine approval of the Oct. 24 minutes earlier in the meeting. "MOVED (Hilty) SECONDED (Moss) TO APPROVE INCREASING THE EMPLOYEE CHRISTMAS BONUS FROM THE AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $150.00 TO $200.00," the minutes record. The council did not attach an immediate funding source change to the motion.
