Osage City leaders highlight curriculum and instruction as top district goals

On curriculum and assessment, the director noted that local common-assessment work and AIMSweb data will be used to guide instruction and PLC discussions. "We're going to focus on quality instruction," the presenter said, explaining that the district will analyze performance-level movements (e.g., students moving from level 2 into level 3) and use PLC time for teacher collaboration. Board members discussed how to measure implementation and requested follow-up on assessment timelines and staff development plans.
