Councilor and Planning Commission liaison Barb Gregory reported that the Planning Commission on Dec. 10 approved a conditional use permit modification for Nicole Murphy’s Growers Market to allow a temporary tent during the winter months for six months.
Gregory said the approval is temporary while Murphy plans a permanent structure. The minutes state that Murphy then plans to build a new 3,700-square-foot building on the property after the temporary period. Onnie Heater, city planner from the Rogue Valley Council of Governments (RVCOG), will assist with sign-code updates mentioned in the meeting.
The minutes do not include dates for the tent installation or building permits; those details will be available in the Planning Commission records and building-permit filings.
