Resident urges town to allow class 1 and 2 e-bikes full access to the Greenway

Brown wrote that class 1 and 2 e-bikes have speed limits (cutting off at 20 mph) and wattage limits (commonly 750W) and described using e-bikes for errands and recreation.
"I wanted to send my support for e-bikes at least for class 1 and 2 to have full access to the Greenway," Brown wrote in the CivicPlus submission. The commenter suggested banning e-motorcycles and class 3 bikes from the Greenway and proposed police consider e-bikes for patrol use to access areas a cruiser cannot.
First Selectwoman Mahr recorded the submission under correspondence; the board did not take formal action on Greenway rules at the July 6 meeting.
