Warrens board delays approval of 2025 audit, cites incomplete report

The Village of Warrens Board of Trustees tabled formal approval of the preliminary 2025 audit prepared by CliftonLarsonAllen after board members noted the audit was not complete and still pending Commission approval. The audit report had been distributed to trustees for review but the board decided to delay final action until the May meeting.
CliftonLarsonAllen's preliminary report was presented to the board for informational review. Trustee J. Le Mere moved to approve the audit pending questions and clarification, and Trustee A. Werner seconded; minutes record the board decided to table the matter because the 2025 audit "wasn’t complete." The board did not record a final approval vote on the audit at the April 14 meeting.
