CDA confirms Winterfest parade route, lineup and start times

Allie Cofer of the CDA told the Colfax City Council that the CDA will run the Winterfest parade and that it will follow the same route used in previous years. "The route will be the same as previous parades, line up will be at 6:00 p.m. with a start time of 6:30 p.m.," Cofer said during the Oct. 21 meeting.
The council did not alter parade timing or routing during the meeting. The parade management by the CDA was presented as a continuity of prior practice; any permitting, staging, or public-safety details were not discussed in the meeting record.
