Waubay council hears Web Water proposal, addresses local water problems

Representatives from Web Water and Banner Associates presented a Web Water proposal for Waubay; the council said staff will prepare comparative cost information showing the difference between Web Water and the city’s current system. Resident Len Dose asked the council to address an ongoing water problem on 4th Avenue; the council approved a culvert project to resolve that issue. Public works reported the municipal well pumped 1,366,000 gallons in June and the sewer system experienced a blown capacitor at lift station 1 after heavy rain.
