The Waubay City Council voted July 9 to approve payment of bills totaling $34,854.39 and accepted the monthly financial report. The bills list included USDA‑RD library and loan payments, a U.S. Bank SRF loan payment, payroll totaling $11,376.30, and a variety of vendor charges; the motion to pay was made by Rerick and seconded by Bowen and carried unanimously.
Council also reviewed account balances and cash receipts: General Checking $18,470.43; second‑penny savings $11,876.90; Water department $11,886.35; Sewer department $12,746.75 (other account balances were read into the record). The financial report was approved by motion of Rerick, seconded by Andres. The council set its next meeting for Aug. 5, 2025 at 5:30 p.m.
