Council OKs Waubay Roundup event, special liquor license and bleacher rental

Council also approved beer and wine licenses for Main Street and the firehall for the Green Buffalo Club, and approved requests for street sweeping, weed spraying and use of the city bobcat for an upcoming Funfest. Motions were made and carried; the minutes record movers and seconders for each approval but do not include roll-call tallies.
Council discussion did not indicate conditions attached to the special-license approvals beyond standard city permitting; event organizers are responsible for compliance with state liquor laws and any insurance/liability requirements.
