Councilmember Scott Vaske moved the authorization and Councilmember Cherie Maxwell seconded; the motion carried by a 5-0 vote.
The special session record shows the vote as "Ayes: 5 Nays: 0." Earlier in the meeting Councilmember Kari Fagerhaug moved to approve the agenda and Vaske seconded that motion. Finance Officer Linda Willman was present and the meeting was presided over by Mayor Ryan Knipfer. Councilman Layton Schimke and City Attorney Gary Blue were recorded as absent.
The amendment to Agreement No. 71755 was described in the meeting minutes as placing a final completion date of Nov. 1, 2026, for the work contemplated by the Community Access Grant on the 2nd Street Project. The council took the authorization vote during the public comment/agenda item discussion and recorded the motion as adopted. No conflicts of interest were declared during the session.
