The project will install drainage systems on six holes to address recurring standing water, improve turf health and reduce maintenance and course closures after heavy rainfall.
Staff said Miller Trucking completed Phase 1 in 2025 and is a reliable contractor; only one bid was received so staff removed work on Hole 2 to keep the project within budget. Construction is anticipated to start on or after Oct. 1 with completion expected by Dec. 31. Funding was identified in the community improvement infrastructure fund and the utility tax capital project fund. The council approved the award by voice/roll call (5–0).
