The Town of Gila Bend Town Council convened Feb. 10, 2026, and approved the consent agenda, ratifying claims totaling $424,599.60 and approving additional claims of $75,366.33 for the period ending Jan. 31, 2026. Vice‑Mayor Chris Riggs moved to approve the consent agenda and Councilmember Donny Young seconded; the motion passed unanimously with five ayes and two absences.
The consent agenda also included approval of the Jan. 13 and Jan. 27 meeting minutes. Councilmembers present were Mayor Tommy Sikes, Vice‑Mayor Chris Riggs, Councilmembers Scott Swanson, Donny Young and Will Sipes; Mary Vinzant and Fernando Fernandez were absent. The approvals clear the town’s immediate payables and record keeping for the covered periods.
The meeting’s business agenda also produced formal votes on a deed of dedication and a revised intergovernmental agreement with the Maricopa County Library District, while a proposed contract to change ambulance billing was tabled for later consideration. No public comments were received during the call to the public.
