Superintendent: deconsolidation filed; first forest-fund payment to district will total $1,046,818.10

"Mountain View School District as a whole will receive $1,046,818.10 in the next couple weeks in the 1st forest fund distribution," she said, and noted subsequent distributions will follow in June and in the next year.
Amanda described the chosen allocation method: the agreed deconsolidation plan divides the first distribution per pupil rather than by ADA or other formulas, producing a 73.88% share for Grangeville (about $773,389) and 26.12% for Clearwater Valley (about $273,428). She said the districts will split the received funds themselves and open separate bank accounts and accounting spreadsheets to track expenditures so each district can make independent spending decisions going forward.
