Seneca manager to depart in April; assistant moves to full-time

City Manager Raamin Burrell told the council that she "couldn't leave until April and that she was already cutting back her hours," and council members discussed the operational transition. Mayor Brad Smith asked when Burrell planned to leave and both Burrell and Assistant City Manager Amanda Born said the transition was going well.
Council discussed increasing Born's hours and benefits eligibility. Burrell said Born "could become full-time, and be eligible for benefit coverage, at any time," and the council agreed to start Born as full-time the week of the meeting so she could assume additional responsibilities and benefits.
The council noted staff would continue to manage project oversight during the transition and recorded no formal opposition to the staffing change.
