Noble Board convenes executive session on personnel, legal and real estate; returns and approves employments
Summary
On Sept. 8 the Noble Board entered an executive session to discuss employments, pending legal action, real estate, and support negotiations under 25 O.S. §307, returned to open session at 6:07 p.m., and approved administration recommendations for employments including the hire of Shirley Armbrister as a bus driver and a travel request for a coach.

The board convened an executive session at 5:49 p.m. under the Oklahoma Open Meeting Act (25 O.S. §307 (B)(1)–(B)(4)) to discuss employments, pending legal action, real estate and support negotiations. The motion to convene was made by Mr. William Broom and seconded by Mrs. Wendy Barnes; the board returned to open session at 6:07 p.m., at which time Board President Leroy Lukinbill announced the return and stated that no action was taken while in executive session.
After returning to open session, the board approved administration’s employment recommendations for the 2025–26 school year on a motion by Mr. James Reed, seconded by Mr. Randy Sheppard. The minutes record that the board then approved the employment of Shirley Armbrister as a bus driver for the remainder of the 2025–26 year (motion by Mrs. Wendy Barnes, seconded by Mr. William Broom) and authorized travel for Erik Hughes to attend a Baseball Coaches Clinic in Manhattan, Kansas with the Kansas State Baseball staff in September 2025 (motion by Mrs. Wendy Barnes, seconded by Mr. Randy Sheppard). All actions recorded in the minutes passed by unanimous votes.
