Student and resident speaker urges caution on phone-pouch policy, citing classroom uses

Mr. Frey urged the district to focus on classroom discipline execution rather than implementing pouches that could eliminate instructional uses and impede students’ opportunity to learn self‑regulation. The board thanked him for his comments and asked staff to consider the concerns as they evaluate any broader phone‑policy changes.
