The Board of Education for Independent School District No. 40 (Noble) unanimously approved Consent Agenda Items A–J during its Sept. 8, 2025 regular meeting, a package that included the Aug. 11 minutes, encumbrances and change orders, class-size limits effective Oct. 1, 2025, and a district adult meal price increase for 2025–26.
The consent action recorded general fund (GF) encumbrances numbered 444–516 totaling $224,159.06 and building fund (BF) encumbrances 92–105 totaling $787,867.00, with associated change orders listed (GF: 125–286; BF: 26–69). The motion to approve the consent agenda was made by Mrs. Wendy Barnes and seconded by Mr. William Broom; the roll call showed five votes in favor and none opposed.
The consent approval also adopted committee appointments and plans including the Gifted & Talented Local Advisory Committee, Professional Development Committee and the Alternative Education Plan for 2025–26. The board’s recorded action on these items was unanimous.
