Ninnekah reports rising enrollment, adds AM/PM alternative education classes
Summary
School leaders reported increased enrollment and new A.M. and P.M. Alternative Education classes for 2025–26, with class periods set to 45 minutes and separate middle/high school lunchtimes, according to the July 7 board minutes.
Renessa Cramer reported that enrollment is up for the district and that students are transferring into Ninnekah Public Schools. The district plans to add A.M. and P.M. Alternative Education classes intended to help students get on track for graduation; class periods have been adjusted to 45 minutes and the middle and high schools will have separate luncheon periods.
Coach Pulliam also reported completion of summer sports camps, including a basketball gym camp, and covered new rules for the 2025–26 season. Dereth Harrison reported elementary enrollment increases and school preparations including a 'meet the teacher' night and a teacher appreciation plan ahead of the school year.
