The Select Board appointed Andrew Osborne and Eli Leveson to two vacancies on the Readfield Community Library Board. Andrew (speaker 6) offered to take the one-year seat and described his long local ties and experience; Eli (speaker 4) said he moved to town in 2021 and emphasized the library's value to his family. The board moved to appoint Andrew to complete the one-year term through 06/30/2027 and Eli to the three-year term through 06/30/2029; both appointments were approved unanimously.
Eli praised the library staff and programs and said he wants to "protect and grow this resource" for families and children. Andrew described prior committee participation and said he would serve as a liaison between local radio and the library. The board thanked Deb Peel for her years of service after formally accepting her resignation earlier in the meeting.
