The Ocean Pines board approved a $925,000 capital authorization to move forward with Phase 3 of irrigation replacement at the association golf course. Staff described the work as covering holes 11, 15, 16 and 17 on the back nine and said bids fit within the capital plan.
"We're looking at working heading into phase 3 of the irrigation, which would include holes 11, 15, 16, and 17," Justin Hartshorn said, describing the contractor performance on prior phases as "terrific." After brief discussion about performance metrics and phasing, a motion to approve the $925,000 authorization passed with no recorded opposition.
Management noted the Phase 3 request is part of a multi-phase program previously budgeted and that this tranche was chunked to comply with procurement thresholds. Staff will proceed with contract finalization and scheduling.
