Town approves replating plan, fence and breezeway permits; abatement for 106 S School St authorized

At the Oct. 17 meeting the board approved a replating plan presented by M. Whittney on behalf of Whitney Welding (207 S Broad St). The motion to approve was moved by S. Schmeichel and seconded by S. Johanson and passed unanimously.
The board also approved a building permit submitted by S. Jackson to alter a fence at 107 S Main St and a permit from S. Henrichs for a breezeway on a front door. Additionally, an abatement application for J. Strong at 106 S School St was approved as a one-time action; C. Werner estimated cleanup costs at about $1,500. The board stated that if the yard becomes a nuisance again, further abatements for that property will not be approved.
