Board members reported that a number of properties have been cleaned up and houses removed under the town’s beautification initiative, with officials saying properties "look amazing." Public works staff reported that water and sewer lift stations were pressure-washed and that J. Patterson completed repairs on a lift. An annual inspection of the system is scheduled.
Finance Officer Michelle Zirbel said only a few utility accounts remain seriously delinquent and she is working on arrangements with those account holders. The board did not take additional action beyond noting the operational updates.
