The council voted to increase the City Manager's invoice approval threshold from $10,000 to $15,000. City Manager Katie Hodge said the existing $10,000 threshold had been in place for more than 10 years; on a motion by Jeanette Swarts, seconded by Jeff Tice, the council approved raising the limit and directed staff to draft a resolution updating the purchasing policy.
The motion carried 8-0. Council did not record additional limits or changes to the overall purchasing policy in the transcript; the action directs staff to prepare the formal resolution for council adoption.
