President Jamie Dolen moved to accept the second and final reading; the motion carried with all members voting aye. Finance Officer Michelle Zirbel presented the financial report in the meeting, noting a general fund balance of $110,919.96 and an outstanding sewer loan principal balance of $120,507.57. Warrants presented at the meeting totaled $13,605.55 and included routine municipal expenses such as public-works invoices, utilities and payroll taxes.
The adoption completes the statutory two-reading process for the budget ordinance. Board members approved the finances and warrants by motion earlier in the meeting (motion by S. Schmeichel, seconded by S. Johanson). The ordinance was recorded as Ordinance 184-2024 (2025 Budget).
