The Town Board of South Shore approved the agenda and July minutes and voted to accept the month’s financial report and warrants at its Aug. 13 meeting. Finance Officer Michelle Zirbel reported fund balances including a General Fund of $114,559.56 and an outstanding sewer loan principal balance of $122,717.09; warrants presented totaled $13,605.55.
Warrants included a $2,431.00 payment to RD USDA for a loan payment, $1,890.60 to First Bank & Trust for miscellaneous supplies, and $955.80 to Service Master of Watertown for services. "Motion by J. Dolen seconded by S. Schmeichel to approve the agenda. All approve," the minutes record. The board’s motion to approve the finances and warrants was made by S. Schmeichel and seconded by J. Dolen and carried unanimously.
