Keith Ladue and his wife, Catherine Evans, told the committee they will install a cupola with a polished-copper roof and a polished-copper whale weathervane atop their Cape Cod house at 121. Ladue said the cupola is built of solid cellular PVC (a synthetic-wood product) and that they plan to spray polyurethane on the copper roof and vane to preserve the polished appearance.
Committee members asked about materials and finish; one member said the cupola and weather vane are attractive additions. With no objections submitted and a supporting neighbor email read into the record, the committee voted to approve application 26-A-091.
