South Shore staff investigating water leak; overnight shutoffs possible

At the Nov. 12 meeting public works staff reported a suspected water leak on South Shore's south side and said crews have turned the water off at times in attempts to locate it. Officials warned that it "may be necessary to have the water off overnight in the near future" and said they would try to inform residents ahead of any outage.
C. Werner, listed in the meeting record as public works, was identified as the employee who handles snow removal and public-works duties; the board did not take a formal vote on repair options during this meeting.
