South Shore board approves $19,486.61 in warrants and confirms fund balances

The South Shore Town Board approved warrants totaling $19,486.61 at its Dec. 10 meeting and reviewed current fund balances. Finance Officer Michelle Zirbel reported the General Fund balance at $124,560.12, the Water Fund at $116,534.40, the Sewer Fund at $113,708.80 and an outstanding sewer loan principal of $113,848.17.
The warrants list included payments such as Augustana University ($2,500.00 for a housing study), WinWater ($3,220.12 for valves), Team Lab ($2,064.00), and an RD USDA loan payment of $2,431.00. A motion by S. Schmeichel to approve the finances and warrants was seconded by S. Johanson and passed unanimously.
