Sewer work near completion for Phase IV; Route 20 corridor bid opening set for Oct. 9

Town engineering staff told council that Phase IV sewer line work is complete and that the contractor has roughly 45 days of concrete and sidewalk work remaining. The Sandy's Hardware force main is being added into the contract instead of remaining an additive alternate. Phase V sewer work is currently on hold, according to the minutes.
Officials also reported a pre-bid meeting for the Route 20 corridor project on Sept. 18, 2024, with a bid opening scheduled for Oct. 9, 2024 at the Thrasher office. AML Phase I closeout work is underway with one or two pay applications remaining, and Phase II AMD NEPA environmental assessment has been drafted and is in process of submission.
