The board instructed that the wetland delineation will cover the entire parcel rather than only the proposed salt-shed footprint, a step the minutes say is intended to prevent future permitting complications if a highway barn or other structure is later proposed on the site. Mike Parks was identified in the meeting as the consultant who will perform the delineation.
The minutes note that, if wetlands are identified, DEC may require relocating any proposed building but is unlikely to prohibit development on the property entirely. The board directed staff to notify Kristy that funding approval is in place and to proceed with contracting and scheduling the delineation.
