Nutter Fort council adopts sewer revenue bonds to fund system improvements

The ordinance authorizes up to $1,500,000 in Series 2024A bonds and up to $2,500,000 in Series 2024B bonds under the West Virginia SRF program, including a forgivable portion for Series 2024B.
Councilor Rick Lafferty moved to approve the ordinance on third reading and Councilor Charlene Louk seconded; the motion passed by unanimous vote. The ordinance title in the minutes lays out the bond amounts and the intent to use bond proceeds to fund extensions, additions, betterments and improvements to the public sewerage system. The council clerk’s minutes record the formal adoption (minutes label the passed item as Ordinance 2024-07).
