Resident tells advisory board his home was 'completely' damaged by nearby blasting

During public comment at the July 27 meeting, Eduardo Munoz told the Miami Lakes Classic Advisory Board that his home has been damaged and asked whether blasting will continue.
"My house is a damage. It's complete," Eduardo Munoz said, providing his address for the record and asking the board what can be done. The Chair responded that blasting will continue but emphasized the board’s role is to advise the council and to seek coexistence with industry while preventing property damage.
Board members urged residents to file complaints in the state system and to allow on-site photo documentation of damage to build a library of evidence for flyers, presentations and Tallahassee advocacy. Members said the more complaints logged in the Miami-Dade pilot/dashboard, the stronger the board’s case will appear to state officials.
