3 Rivers Charter reports enrollment gains, facility upgrades and new arts program

Kim Morgan, school director for 3 Rivers Charter School, gave the fall update on Oct. 15: the school serves 81 students (capacity around 90), about 56% of students qualify for free or reduced-price meals, and 72 students live within Fort Bragg Unified boundaries. The school completed facility renovations this summer and has a waiting list at some grade levels.
Morgan highlighted new programming funded by Prop 28 Arts and Music in Schools, a growing TIDES after-school program, and partnerships for field trips and flexible seating funded through grants. The charter noted it is insured through next summer, had three suspensions last year, and its 5-year lease remains in place through 2028.
