"That's for the Chromebooks," the superintendent said when asked what the technology replacement line covers. Board members asked how much had already been spent this year and whether the grant could support a technology replacement reserve; the superintendent said a portion was used this year and the remainder must be expended by 2028–29 under the grant timeline. A motion to approve the plan was seconded and carried on a roll‑call vote.
The update also includes funding for staff professional development and substitute coverage tied to learning recovery activities. Trustees flagged monitoring and federal program review as next steps: the superintendent said the county office will likely include the program in federal monitoring and the district will prepare documentation in advance of those reviews. The board directed staff to move forward with the updated plan and report back as required.
