Council approved an amendment to the contract for reliability upgrades at the 4 Lakes Substation.
Staff said the amendment replaces an earlier milestones table: construction completion and model updates are scheduled by May 15, with cutover testing and commissioning by June 15 (dates contingent on normal construction progress). The city's share includes a deposit of $187,500 payable by March 15, staff said.
Council discussion affirmed support for the reliability work; staff and utility partners said the amendment will help avoid extended outages by enabling bypass and maintenance work without losing power to the community.
