Cheney council authorizes SRTC grant application for Bridal Nave Street improvements

Staff told council the city intends to submit a project application to the Spokane Regional Transportation Council (SRTC) for street improvements on Bridal Nave Street from SR‑904 up to Crest. Todd Abelman said the application deadline is in the first part of April and asked for authorization for the mayor to sign the application.
Council moved and approved the resolution to submit the application. Staff said SRTC has been a good partner and that submitting an application preserves the city's chance to compete for available project funds.
