Residents raise parking, traffic and services concerns as Maxwell Village is discussed

The presenter acknowledged those concerns and said the team is aiming for approximately a 1:1 parking ratio per unit and to use about 20 existing gravel parking spots on the west side of the property. The presenter also said broader neighborhood planning — including proposed overlays for River Road — is the city's role and that developers are part of that planning conversation.
Meeting speakers suggested community engagement tactics such as open houses and resident conversations to build support and surface service gaps before construction.
