Neighbors press city on ‘local access roads’ annexation and liability concerns

Mayor CJ Linda called the designation "a curious designation" and said the city and county need to map ownership, prioritize parcels and have a joint conversation to find workable pathways. She cautioned that the city cannot unilaterally absorb unfunded liabilities and that a phased or negotiated solution will likely be required.
