River Road organizers urge residents to take LTD survey as push to reinstate bus service continues

Neighborhood volunteers and the River Road Recreation District described outreach to Lane Transit District (LTD) about reinstating a bus route into the interior of River Road to serve the recreation center. A member of the association said LTD staff seemed open to conversations and that the agency has a short online survey available on its homepage to collect community input.
"They seem to be open to it," the presenter said of LTD staff, and attendees were asked to go to the Lane Transit District website to "take a brief survey"; the presenter said the survey is open until May 18. The River Road Recreation District reported it supports reinstating service to the rec center and has been coordinating with volunteers on this outreach.
